316 grade steel refers to the steel’s strength and what environment they are suited for. 316 stainless steel is high quality, marine grade steel. This means it is suited to all environments - if you like leaving your pegs out hanging on the line, or live near the beach or in extreme weather areas, then Spacewhite stainless steel pegs are perfect for you.
Short answer, no! Longer answer, whilst stainless steel is general can become hot to touch in warmer conditions, Spacewhite pegs are designed to allow for airflow, meaning you won’t burn your fingers!
Spacewhite stainless steel pegs are incredibly strong, and will stay attached to your clothesline in windy conditions.
316 stainless steel is designed to withstand the elements and to protect against rust. Lower grade stainless steels are more prone to rust.
Regular size: 1.7mm wire, 5.8cm long.
Large size: 2mm wire, 7.6cm long.
Spacewhite stainless steel pegs come in a pack of 50, with 40 regular size and 10 large size. This should be enough for 2 people who do a standard amount of laundry every week. If you have a larger family, or if you do a lot of laundry you may need to purchase two packs.
